The Trees of Kiesel Park is a small project and a zine I recently created. It was inspired by conversations with many graduate students and the pressure they feel from not finding jobs, not earning money, and constantly being questioned by others.
The idea came from one question that students hear a lot: “How many papers do you have?” No one ever asks a tree how many papers it has—even though trees are the ones that make paper.
